BEFORE YOU BUY
Will it upset my stomach at 90g an hour?
The 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio uses two transporters, which is what lets most endurance athletes absorb this much per hour. Build up over two or three long runs or rides rather than starting on race day.
How long does mixing really take?
About five minutes of hands-on time, plus ten minutes for the gel to set. Most people do it the night before and drop the flask in the fridge.
What if I don't like it?
Start with the $5 sample pack — two servings with electrolytes — and taste it before you buy a full bag.
Do I need the electrolyte mix too?
For anything over an hour, yes. One bag is 80 servings, so it lasts far longer than the gel mix — that's why the Starter Kit pairs them.
Still deciding? Taste it for $5.
Two servings with electrolytes.
